On August the 1st, BANANAS!* was shown for the first time to a Swedish audience, during the film festival in Båstad, Sweden.
Now the support is growing around the world. On Facebook the BANANAS!* fan-page and fan-group has more than 6000 members. Several internationally known filmmakers expresses their support for the film, including Kim Longinotto, behind several award-winning documentaries. Also Austrian filmmaker Hubert Saupe and American filmmaker Robert Kenner express their concern about multinationals power over the freedom of speech in documentaries.
